Find Relief from fibromyalgia

fibromyalgia is a chronic disease which affects more and more people everyday. According to medical professionals it is incurable. However, many people have been able to treat their symptoms and find relief from this crippling disease.

The Cause

In order for you to find relief you need to know and understand what has caused you to become sick with this disease. And again, according to medical professionals the cause is unknown, but when you look at their own research you can easily determine that fibromyalgia is caused by having too many toxins in your body.

Therefore in order to find relief you must get rid of the toxins that are in your body and stop other toxins from entering. These toxins mainly enter the body through the foods that you eat such as animal fats and proteins, as well as cooked, baked, processed and refined foods.

Finding Relief

A plant-based diet is essential if you want to find relief from Fibromyalgia. These foods will not only help to prevent toxins from entering into your body, but they will also help your body to get rid of harmful toxins that are lodged deep within your body.

Some of the best foods to add in are avocados, tomatoes, melons, bananas, kiwi, pineapple, broccoli, eggplant, mustard greens, collards, kale, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, almonds, Brazil nuts and pecans.

Detoxifying

One of the easiest ways to detoxify your body is by using a sauna. This will promote sweating so that harmful toxins can be released from your body. If you do not have access to a sauna you can promote sweating by taking a hot bath. After the bath or sauna, wrap yourself up in a bathrobe or large towel and just rest. As you continue to sweat you will begin to feel your muscles relax.

Keep in mind that when you cause your body to sweat in this manner that you will need to drink more fluids. It is essential that you drink between 3 to 4 liters of clean water each day to help remove toxins and to stay hydrated.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D is also essential for helping you to find relief from Fibromyalgia. It not only helps your body to absorb calcium, which is essential for muscle contractions, but it can also help you to overcome depression, anxiety and fibro fog.

Vitamin D is not easily obtained from the foods you eat, but rather your body will create its own when exposed to sunshine. 10 to 15 minutes a day is all you need if you have a light skin, but if you have a darker skin, then you will need between an hour or two each day.

Finding relief from Fibromyalgia will not happen overnight, but if you continue to keep your body clean and get lots of rest you can overcome it with time.

6 fibromyalgia Pain Relief Strategies

Treating the pain associated with fibromyalgia can be a difficult task since cures that help one person might not help you. Here is a list of popular and common pain remedies that should help your symptoms.

1 Entering into a consistent and relaxing exercise routine is one of the easiest and most beneficial ways of dealing with fibromyalgia. Not only does exercise help keep you fit and trim, it also helps with blood flow throughout the body. It can also help normalize sleep patters and reduce the amount of time it takes for your body to recover from injury. Please remember to never start an exercise routine without consulting a doctor first.

2 A low carb and high protein diet is another popular way to help relieve Fibromyalgia pain. Not only will eating right help your body overall, by eliminating high amounts of saturated fat, refined white sugar, caffeine and alcohol, you can eliminate many common symptom triggers. Combine that with a beneficial exercise routine, and you will be well on your way to a healthier body and less pain.

3 As any long time sufferer of Fibromyalgia can tell you, nothing feels better than a good heating pad. Pads help with circulation and also help to loosen up muscles and joints that can ache during severe bouts of Fibro flare-up. There are many different pads you can use, cordless and the old-fashioned plug-in kinds. There are also chemical heating pads that you can you and even wear under your clothes during the day. Some of these pads can last up to 8 hours.

4 The use of topical pain medications is another popular way to deal with Fibromyalgia. But a quick trip to your local drug store reveals an overwhelming choice in pain relief rubs. The industry standard is, of course, Bengay. But if you’ve tried it and didn’t care for the results, there are literally a dozen other choices available. And if none of the name brand medications seem to do the trick, there are also a slew of homeopathic remedies and all-natural creams that many sufferers swear by.

5 Meditation might not be a cure-all for pain, but it can help relieve a lot of stress that can be a major trigger for Fibromyalgia symptoms. Meditation is a very personal, and for most a private practice. Most people require a quiet place, maybe some soothing music and the ability to completely relax. Meditation can also give a big boost to self-confidence by putting practitioners in the mindset that they can control their Fibromyalgia, and thus their pain, as well.

6 A final helper for pain is deep tissue massage. By helping to stimulate blood flow in the joints and muscles that are aching, symptoms and pain can be reduced. This works much the same way as a heating pad, but many Fibromyalgia sufferers swear by the deeper and more complete relief of a massage. You may need to experiment with this option. Try and find a massuse who has dealt with fibro patients before as initially the pain can stop you continuing with the massage.

Fibromyalgia can be a painful and debilitating ailment. Luckily, there are many non-drug methods of dealing with the chronic pain caused by this condition. You may have to try several methods before you find one that is right for you, but there is hope for everyone with Fibromyalgia.

Modern medicine has established a Hyaluronic acid fibromyalgia link. The two are entirely different things; but they are related in the sense that Hyaluronic acid can be the key to providing a solution to fibromyalgia pain and discomfort.

There is one major benefit of Hyaluronic acid to fibromyalgia patients. And that one benefit is RELIEF. Living with fibromyalgia is no fun at all, especially when symptoms flare so anything that relieves the pain is well received.

Fibromyalgia is a chronic and painful ailment that is usually diagnosed in older patients. It has been noted that there are rare cases of fibromyalgia in children and adolescents. The older the person is, the greater the chance that she (or he, but it effects men less often) will develop the condition, with the average age sitting around 45 years old.

About 6 million Americans suffer from the painful symptoms of fibromyalgia. That is a very compelling reason for researchers to accelerate efforts towards finding an exact solution to this ever-growing health problem.

Although fibromyalgia is not a life-threatening disease, the pain suffered by those effected can be crippling. Symptoms of fibromyalgia include headaches, pains in the joints and in the different musculoskeletal areas of the body, insomnia and chronic fatigue. These manifestations can be the reason why in the past, onset of fibromyalgia had been mistaken for rheumatoid arthritis.

Keep reading to find out the benefits of Hyaluronic acid and to sign up for the Free newsletter dedicated to bringing you natural ways to treat fibromyalgia symptoms.

The exact cause of fibromyalgia is not yet established. However, magnesium is required for the body to produce Hyaluronic acid and as many fibromyalgia sufferers have a magnesium deficiency this may explain why supplementing Hyaluronic acid is beneficial.

How Hyaluronic acid helps fibromyalgia

The administration of Hyaluronic acid as a treatment for fibromyalgia is becoming increasingly popular. That is because almost all tests indicate success levels. Hyaluronic acid has been proven to help alleviate the pain and joint stiffness associated with the disorder.

Hyaluronic acid is present within the synovial fluid that surrounds the joints and is present in most of our connective tissues. The levels of Hyaluronic acid naturally produced by the age decreases with age. Within the joints Hyaluronic acid acts a natural cushion and lubricates the joints, which stops inflammation and eases movement.

There are a number of ways to supplement your levels of Hyaluronic acid: supplements made from animal derived Hyaluronic acid, injections directly into the joints or ingesting it in liquid form.

The easiest way to take Hyaluronic acid is in its liquid form by adding drops to a drink. This form of the acid is also synthesized without using animal derivatives, so there is minimal risk of adverse reaction.

A recent study of 35 people diagnosed with fibromyalgia administered liquid form Hyaluronic acid over 1 to 14 months.

The results were as follows:
21 reported no pain after the course of treatment, 6 people had a 60% reduction in pain and 8 reported no change in pain levels.

Now you can see that through taking Hyaluronic acid fibromyalgia pain relief can be gained. If you are interested in supplementing with Hyaluronic acid then speak to your doctor.

Aching bones, stiff shoulders, fatigue and difficulty sleeping may all be indications of fibromyalgia. There is no known cure, so it is important to find as much relief from fibromyalgia as possible.

Many sufferers have found relief from fibromyalgia by making changes to their lifestyle. Simple changes like eating better and exercising more, have helped others feel less pain and stiffness, have more energy, and generally feel better overall. Conventional medicine can only treat the symptoms of fibromyalgia, as there is no known cure.

Of the changes one could make to their lifestyle, getting more physical exercise is usually the best way. A regular plan of exercise will help stretch the muscles, and improve the health of the individual, which in turn helps to alleviate the pain and stiffness associated with fibromyalgia. Occasional relaxation treatments may also be helpful, if one is not getting the appropriate amount of rest.

One of the most common ways that individuals seek relief from Fibromyalgia is through the use of over the counter medications, which include ibuprofen, which may aid in pain relief. In some cases, a physician may prescribe certain other medications to help aid in relief from Fibromyalgia. In this case, patients must familiarize themselves with the medication and ask any concerning questions regarding potential side effects that may arise from it’s use.

Relief from Fibromyalgia may also be obtained through proper sleeping habits. This includes going to bed and getting up at the same time each day, making sure that the sleep area is free from distractions and is a comfortable temperature. In addition, avoiding caffeine will also help individuals to fall asleep better, as will doing light exercise throughout the day and practicing relaxation techniques. In extreme cases, sleep medications may be prescribed. Patients are urged to carefully consider the use of any medication that is addictive, which is often the case with sleep inducing medication.

In addition to the aforementioned options for finding relief from Fibromyalgia, many individuals find that physical therapy, massages, light aerobics, the application of heat or cold, yoga, relaxation exercises, aromatherapy, breathing techniques and nutritional supplements may help some sufferers.

Fibromyalgia means pain in the muscles and fibrous tissues. In fact, the word itself speaks of its literal meaning in Latin and Greek, where â??fibroâ? is fibrous, â??myoâ? is muscle and â??algosâ? is pain. It afflicts about six million people in the United States and many millions throughout the world. Majority of those afflicted, up to eighty to ninety percent, are female.

It was only as recent as 1987 that the American Medical Association recognized fibromyalgia as a disease, though. Three years later, in 1990, the American College of Rheumatology declared that a diagnosis of fibromyalgia should be based on the identification of 18 common tender points in the body and a minimum of six months of widespread body pain.

The same 18 common tender points were recognized along with other symptoms of fibromyalgia in the Copenhagen Declaration of 1992 done by fibromyalgia specialists. Among the other fibromyalgia symptoms identified are tension headaches, migraines, impaired cognition, blurred vision, constant fatigue, intolerance of exercise, heart palpitations, numbness or tingling, painful menstrual periods, irritable bowels with bloating, gas and distention with pain, abnormalities in skin and fingernails, disrupted and non-restorative sleep, sleep apnea, restless legs in sleep and temperature sensitivity.

Although fibromyalgia has been named a biochemical imbalance, no cause has been identified yet for the condition. Heredity is considered as a factor, though. Because of the imbalance, there are low levels of amino acids and nerve transmitters like Tryptophan, Serotonin, Endorphins, Substance P and Enkephalins which are necessary for the body to achieve deep sleep that is restorative and for the alleviation of pain.

Without enough healing sleep, the body cannot manufacture enough growth hormones used for muscle repair and maintenance. Any minimal trauma of the muscles, tissues and fascia go unrepaired and pile up to add more pain. The patient soon experiences chronic pain. With pain, the muscles tend to contract further. This results in a vicious cycle. Muscle constriction limits blood circulation, oxygen delivery and nutritional delivery while also inhibiting the expulsion of metabolic toxins as waste, adding more causes of pain.

Even pain relief medication is often not very effective for fibromyalgia pain. In fact, because of its insufficiency in alleviating pain, there is often a tendency toward medication dependence or medication overdose.

Majority of patients who are afflicted with fibromyalgia have found more relief in deep tissue massage therapy. In 1996, a study has found that fibromyalgia patients who were given ten sessions of half hour massages felt as much as 38% less pain. Their sleep patterns also improved with better quality and longer hours. It is expected that with more regular and long term deep tissue massage therapy, even more long term and extensive relief can be achieved.

Deep tissue massage therapy helps relieve the pains of fibromyalgia, including chronic headaches, by increasing the circulation of blood, thereby improving oxygenation and helping flush out toxins. Deep tissue massage therapy also causes the production of Endorphins which fibromyalgia patients lack.

Fibromyalgia sufferers in Monmouth County, Englishtown, Manalapan, Morganville, Old Bridge, Freehold, Howell, Millstone, Matawan, Aberdeen and Colts Neck need not wallow in pain. They can ask for deep tissue massage therapy in the same professional therapeutic massage spa that offers reflexology massage therapy, Swedish massage therapy, sports massage therapy and pregnancy massage therapy in Marlboro NJ.
